We sourced this decaf from small producers near Buesaco, Colombia. We chose it for its mild fruit flavors and acidity, which can withstand gentler decaffeination methods like EA. Descafecol in Tolima performed the decaffeination using sugarcane as a main source of the natural chemical. That’s why this coffee is sometimes called “sugarcane decaf”
